Background Information
I was schooled at Ignatius Park College in Townsville and have spent my working life based in North Queensland. With tenures at Accounting firms in the Townsville Area, Internal and External Audits enabled me to experience a diverse range of businesses in both size and location: from small sole-trader real estate agents on Magnetic Island to special assignments for internal organisations on private islands off the coast of Queensland; remote localities in the far North to Local Governments along the line from Townsville to Mt Isa; Commonwealth Statutory Authorities to motor vehicle dealerships and credit unions; primary schools and secondary colleges; law firms, tourism ventures & museum enterprises - the list goes on.
The knowledge and insights gained from these experiences, has given me the basis for sound controls and awareness of the areas in which businesses are deserving of assistance. Business owners and managers don't always have the time, energy or knowledge to ensure their business affairs are in order, that the income is correctly recognised and billed out, or even at the required level to keep the business viable.
Prior experience maintaining and operating computer networks has given me the working knowledge and interest in IT. I am able to assist with general IT enquiries and converse with IT professionals on the best needs for efficient operations and profitability.
This is my hobby business, borne out of a gap in the market - with online enquiries and projects accepted as time allows. No job too big or small, I will have a look at your request and requirements and give you feedback on availability, together with an estimate on cost.
